Stock cover refers to the number of weeks that can be covered by stock quantity remained as of the end date selected. It is calculated by dividing closing stock quantity by the total sales quantity within that week.

Stock cover= Closing Stock Quantity /Total sold quantity in a week

Example
Units sold (1st- 7th June)= 15 units
Stock Quantity on 7th June = 350
Stock cover = 350/15 = 23.33 weeks

This helps you to understand if your current stocks would be sufficient to support your sales and to plan the next action accordingly.
