In order for the Internal Intelligence module to be able to work with Google Analytics, the following prerequisites must be met:
- You should be using Google Analytics v3 or also known as Universal Analytics. Read di sini to understand which version you are using.
- Your Google Analytics account should have been configured correctly to capture your products and SKUs in your shop.
- Enhanced Ecommerce option of Google Analytics must be enabled. Enhanced Ecommerce enables the measurement of user interactions with products on eCommerce websites across the user’s shopping experience, including product impressions, product clicks, viewing product details, adding a product to a shopping cart, initiating the checkout process, transactions, and refunds.
To ensure you have been using this functionality, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Log into your Gmail account that has access to your Google Analytics account.
Step 2: From the left-hand navigation menu click on the “Admin”
Langkah 3: Choose the correct account, Property and View and click on “Ecommerce Settings”.
Step 4: If your Shopify is correctly configured both “Ecommerce” and “Enhanced Ecommerce Reporting” options should be enabled.
Step 5: The next step to validate if your Google Analytics is working correctly is to confirm if certain reports are enabled. To do so, click on the “Home” icon from the left-hand side menu. Then from the menu click on the “Conversions” menu item.
Next, click on the Ecommerce:
Here we have to ensure we are capturing data from our store under the following sub-menus: “Product Performance” and “Product List Performance”.
So, click on both of this sub-menus to ensure your store conversions have been tracked there.
Please note that you need to change the primary dimension to “Product” in order to see these reports.

From “Product List Performance” report:
- Added To Cart
- Reached Checkout
Note: Integration will break if an upgrade to Google Analytics V4 is done after integrating with the Internal Intelligence Dashboard.
